As usual, your voice is delightful to listen to.

"And tonight he is shrouded anyway," Gimli murmured. "Would that the Lady had given us a light, such a gift as she gave to Frodo!"

"It will be more needed where it is bestowed," said Aragorn. "With him lies the true Quest. Ours is but a small matter in the great deeds of this time.

Aragorn always has his priorities straight, no matter how dire the circumstances.

Yes indeed. Legolas and Gimli are right to trust his judgement - even if he sometimes doubts himself.

Thanks for listening! :)

Poor Aragorn is so conflicted, not knowing what to do for the best. I love that Legolas and Gimli have such faith in him. :))

Thanks for your kind comment!

This pt of the book caused me such stress but I loved every bit of it. It was concerning yet reassuring to hear the Ranger struggle with trying to make the right choice.

You have the perfect reading voice, I enjoyed listening.

You're right - by making Aragorn so unsure of himself, Tolkien really keeps us on edge.

Thanks so much! :))

Little does Aragorn know exactly how right he is about the light being more needed where it is bestowed. Beautifully read as ever, Tel. Thank you so much!
