MUCH AGREEMENT THERE. Much of the Heroes fandom I've seen has been made of fail. :/

I KNOW. Argh, I don't get it at all! Yaeko was so brilliant and cute this episode, how could someone hate her?

I'm behind on Heroes and I don't poke the fandom. What I've seen of Yaeko was a bit too cliché to like, but not enough to hate her WTF o.O Then again, what do I know, I liked Charlie a lot so I'm too weird being a Hiro/Ando shipper anyway.

I don't poke it much aside from the Hiro/Ando comm and a few posts here and there sometimes, still... I wish I could just avoid the whole fandom like I do with Avatar because, what the hell. I mean, yeah, Yaeko is a bit cliché at the start but she grow on me a lot and the Hiro/Ando shippers are still bashing her. I liked Charlie too. ;_;

Times like this, I'm glad I just don't ever touch Heroes comms in any way. Yaeko isn't that interesting to me--I loved Charlie, but Yaeko never grabbed me--but bashing her for getting in the way of the Hiro/Ando love is just...ugh. Granted, for me it would be generally much easier to take love interests seriously if they weren't basically forgotten about as soon as they were gone (like, Hiro rallied under Charlie's name for, what, two episodes? And hasn't even mentioned any kind of conflict with his love for Charlie versus his new love. And the same thing with Peter and Simone and..yeah tangent). But I'm pretty sure in a few episodes Hiro will be acting like nothing ever happened and he and Ando will be back to their standard levels of hoyay. Which is more of a fault with the show than with any characters, so wtf bashing.

I think I got distracted there.

IWTC. Y'know? I thought the same thing before, and it was certainly annoying how fast Hiro forgot all about Charlie, and how much time passed since then anyway? A few weeks? And now he is in love with Yaeko. Uh, r-right. I mean, okay, it's possible and all and I like Yaeko, but bashing her is just bad, IMHO.

Distracted is good~. FEEL FREE TO RANT. \o/

Really, bashing characters is always a bad choice. Especially for getting in the way of your OTP. Especially if it's Hiro and Ando, because, really, if you think a girl can destroy Hiro and Ando's love for each other, then you fail to appreciate the depth of their BFFitude.
