The thing with Okami was that I needed to buy it, because I watched the videos but I really wanted to play it. And MGS is kind of more plot-heavy and with tons of cut-scenes, and it's a game I'd never play (but instead I'm liking the plot a lot).
But yeah, probably I'm not thaaat easy to top or I resisted it a lot better before, I dunno if this makes sense or not. I want to get Okami this year, or now that I can actually rent games, I will do that.
Ychea, I suppose that makes sense: it's not the same to see other people feeding fluffy animals and blooming trees. Like, feeling like the god yourself.
Personally I wouldn't play MGS either XD Just seeing my brrrrrrrothers playing the third game was stressful enough (stealth and timed situations are bad for my heart and reflexes, even "easier" ones like the fucking pirate fortress at Majora's Mask sdjfkjkh). And I think I'd watch the cutscenes after I'm done with Abyss, mostly for the lulz. It seems like the kind of plot that treats everything as Serious Business, and so do the fanboys, but if you think about it it's all just pffftlolwhut at the end.

DO EEEEEEEEEET

It's so over the top sometimes X'DDD And at the same time, the plot makes kind of a twisted sense, and has truly heartwarming moments.
THAT SAID, THERE IS A MAN WHOSE POWER IS BEING COVERED IN BEES IN THE THIRD ONE. YES.

Is this... the sweet smell of a successful pimping? *cries in joy*
(I forgot to tell you. Snake is kind of a dick in the first game :'D All action-hero and stuff, BUT IT GETS BETTER I PROMISE, his is mostly a facade and it starts crumbling by the middle of the game.)
