So just to begin this entry I'd like to state that at this moment I feel the best I have thus far this year, barring perhaps New Year's Day. Some set-backs may occur, but I've pretty much accepted that what's gone down has gone down and it's time to stop worrying about it and get living ( Read more... )

So on my drive back from cleveland to toledo I thought of something that I made a mental note to tell you. Obviously, this forced me to try so hard to remember it that I forgot what it was. Hence, it must have been useless.

The real question here is- did you get IPF after the pancakes on Sunday?

hahaha. yes! I did indeed get IPF, and it was bad IPF. And I also remember standing there hung-over and alone in my tiny little apartment thinking, "I have IPF, I need to tell someone" hahah

Of course, immediately after I left that comment I remembered what I wanted to tell you. I went to a Mustard Plug show for $5 on Saturday. I skanked a bit. It was very, ah, nostalgic? And everyone looked at me like I was an idiot. Fuck. It was awesome.

It wasn't Sax 'o' Tromba at Peabody's but it was pretty bitchin' (yea, I said bitchin')

Mustard Plug is great live; they have some good tuns too; their cover of Freshman is CLASSIC. But no, the Saxotromba show at Peabody's on the balcony when they covered "walking on sunshine" was life-changing.

we went to that show with the keelings and ryan serney. I imagine you went to Tom's funeral. I hated that I couldn't go, even though him and I weren't really friends though. Do you talk to Kristen ever? Did she move back from Chicago? etc. etc.

I remember i saw him over xmas last year (2004) at McCarthy's and he talked about going to Iraq. and i guess when violand and erica broke up for the last time Tom was the one to drag violand out of the house and take him out to party and literally that was the last time Violand saw him.
