This is so haunting. Eloise is not a character I'm fond of, but wonderful fics like this help me understand her motivation. I just want to give Dan a hug though. :)

Ooooh - nice! I don't read much Eloise fic, but I do like this a lot, how helpless and inevitable her 'future' is.

Thank you! I'm now half thinking about doing something with Eloise in the alt timeline, where she's afraid for Daniel again, trying to work it out in my head.
