Oooh, very eerie and very good. Especially since the characterization is all so good. I'd realized Rose would have died, but not all of the rest. Having Ana Lucia adopt Aaron is genius.
(Did you make Rose Walt's grandmother or am I mixed up?)
Loved it, and very clever title -- made me feel like I couldn't pass it up!
Glad you liked it - wonder if we'll actually see something like this, since I'm convinced the first episode of S6 is going to try and lead us to believe it worked then reveal that actually it didn't.
As far as the Rose thing goes, I know it's already been suggested as a theory over at Lostpedia, only for someone to then turn around and say that was ridiculous since Walt hadn't appeared to know Rose. I don't know - Rose did say in a deleted scene she had a dead daughter, and it's technically possible she and Susan had been estranged for whatever reason. So while I wasn't consciously making Rose Walt's grandmother, I guess I'm open to that interpretation.
I just loved this! Every character's little vision was so true and heartbreaking. But best of all was the ending going back to the very first scene of the show. That was chilling and wonderful! They truly would all have been so much worse off (well, Sayid might have been ok, but still). Great story. :)
That's exactly why I didn't end up using Sayid, because he probably would have had a happy ending if the reset had worked and it didn't really fit with what I was trying to achieve.
