This is really creepy, poor Hurley getting all the grief from people. I'm surprised Michael got a visit in, but you wrote it and justified it really well. And with the cliffhanger ending too!

The honest answer to this is, Michael was actually an afterthought - when the idea first came to me, it was just Libby visiting Hurley, but (as quite often happens with me) the idea changed as I thought more about it. The stuff Hurley was saying to Jack in 4x10 sounded like the kind of thing Dave would have come out with, and as for Michael, well, I'd been hoping that those two characters would meet again (I think the actors playing them were too) and was disappointed when they didn't, because nothing really got resolved there, which is why I wrote that. I hope we get to see that on the show!
