I am so, SO wildly sorry for how long it's taken me to comment on this -- I never forgot about your message, but between a general lack of LJ time in the past few months and then some technical issues when I was trying to comment, it's taken far longer than it should have.
But I did want to say that I absolutely loved this -- I love Fringe while don't read much fic for the show, but your Walter is just exceptional. I could absolutely hear his voice and little quirks in all the dialogue. And Daniel! I was so glad that this gave him such a new interesting role to play (influencing Walter's decisions, helping to name Peter, etc.) weaved into his own canon story. I loved the inclusion of all the supporting characters too, like Widmore, Eloise, Olivia and Peter -- it really made this fic feel like its own proper universe, and something that absolutely could have taken place (the Ann Arbor meeting and Eloise and Walter's encounter in particular were great
