He left the room, quickly closing the door behind him, and swept Molly into his arms. "Morning, Princess. Sorry I slept in." He spun her in a circle and set her down.
"Uh huh." She looked at him suspiciously. "What's in there?" Matt never bothered closing his door when he wasn't in his room.
"Nothing."
But before he finished speaking, Molly darted past him and pushed the door open, then put her hand over her mouth, hiding a giggle. "You've got a girlfriend," she shrieked.
"Shhhh!" He put his hand over her mouth, not wanting to see how pissed Elle would be at the noise.
Elle's head lifted again, her hair slightly mussed. "Five more minutes!" she repeated, louder this time. Her head dropped back onto the sheets. God, she felt sore. Why did she feel-
Oh, right. Sex. Really, really good sex.
She grinned and stretched beneath the sheets. Not a bad choice of a guy to marry.
"Out, brat," Matt said, pushing Molly towards the door. He smiled down at Elle for a second before following his daughter out. "Look, Princess... it's a long story, and we don't have time for it now, but... Elle and I are getting married. Today."
Molly shrieked again. "No way! Do I get to be the flower girl? Please?"
"Uh... it's not that kind of wedding. We're just... it's a private thing."
"But I'm coming, right? I have to!" Molly looked up at him stubbornly.
He blinked. "I, uh... Sure." She was his daughter, after all. She deserved to be there. He wanted her to be there. "I'll go see if Elle's ready to wake up yet." He poked his head back in the room. "Sweetheart?"
