I like the crypticness of this chapter, the little clues and trailmarkers for later on ^_^

One sentence caught my eye:

He blinks and the blur takes the shape of a young girl, standing up on chair by his side.

I'm not sure what's being described here; is she standing up on the chair or standing up in front of the chair, maybe?

I think I see how confusing the sentence can be - although I admit, being a non-native english speaker, I totally missed it as I wrote it. (And I apparently missed a word, too >_<) I'll have to be even more careful next time :)

I tried to tell that Emma was actually standing up on the chair, on her feet, as opposed as sitting on it. (A dangerous thing to do, according to my mom :P) I picture her quite small, so it was the necessary step in order to have her climb and sit next to Ryan, on the edge of the bed.

I'm glad to know you liked it :) The dosage between clues and questions throughout the fic has been quite difficult, and I'm not sure I achieved it as well as I could have.

Beatiful and warm... That's exactly what Eric is, IMO :D
