Odd little question:has anyone bought textbooks online? Did it end up being cheaper than the campus bookstore, with shipping and all? I am trying to squeeze every last penny out of my student loans and would be quite happy to wait an extra week to save some bucks

Bitches! My school did that to me too! That's - waaaaaay too little time to tell you though. A week? Seriously - what are you just supposed to pull a class out of your ass? *sigh*

Anyway - textbooks for me are cheaper online - but keep your eye on shipping, because sometimes that absolutely kills you. Try for used too. I don't think I've ever bought new textbooks. *nods* Seriously though? They're a ripoff anyway you look at them. *sighs*

Yeah there were definitely several moments of panic. Not that that sentence doesn't describe my entire life....

And thank you! I just got a couple of my textbooks like half off at amazon, assuming theyre the right editions, because if not I just wasted stupid amounts on getting them here in two days, despite the fact they will probably be avoided for the next two months.

And no worries - even if they're the wrong editions you can probably fake it. School is fickle like that. A fickle and evil beast that sucks all your monies like a very very bad thing.

Thanks for the heads up on the psych classes, I'll def have to check that out. Is it that way with courses in all faculties?
