Using Subtitle Files

Lately, with the sudden proliferation of a certain animated movie, a number of people have come up to me asking me how to make the included subtitle file (indicated by a .idx, .sub, or .srt extension) work with the video. I use Windows Media Player 9, and VobSub works there.

Media Player Classic. >D Which do you like better, MPC or VLC's? I feel like ditching WMP9 for one of these.

i used vlc in its early days, didn't really feel a connection between us. :P

i've been using mpc for a while now, since i'm a big fan of wmpc. as for wmp9.. well, let's just say it's one of the biggest, slowest, most useless programs in my book. :P
