I was just about to say "but it is exactly like that!".

I'm learning to be careful about saying I feel, I experienced, and other disclaimers. The other side of that is do people go to others for advice or are they just looking to talk to someone and we always assume they want our advice?

To me, life is a giant experiment. I believe we get caught up in worrying that if we respond wrongly in one situation our whole world will fall apart. I've found that the same things come up over and over for me and that I'm never going to be able to really screw this up because each time I take a strange turn, if it's something fundamental to my nature - it'll reappear again for me to deal with (good or bad).

I love your new icon by the way!!

I always love your posts/comments!

Usually ... people just want someone to talk to ... advice is just the price sometimes. :)

I'm still at a point in my life that I get anxious that I'm going to seriously screw up my life. I'm surrounded by so many unhappy people who think their life would have gone in different directions, the big "If..."

I know that one decisions won't make or break life, just take me on different paths, but I still can't seem to let go. That's the best way to put it ... I need to meditate on "Let Go" and have a little faith that the chaotic world is more resilient than I realize.

(BTW, I like my new icon too. I titled it "Naked Reading.")

I believe people choose to be what-ifers but don't really have to be. By not embracing their current experience they waste away...

Yay for naked reading!
