KDE 4.1.x were available as updates even for Fedora 9 though. It is likely that 4.2 will be an update for Fedora 10 as well. Other than a couple of minor backported fixes (like autohide panel support from 4.2), it is more or less the stock KDE defaults

Panels kept vanishing, system trays as well, stuff kept vanishing.
