Yeah, KDE is getting much more usable than 4.0.something that was included originally with Fedora 9. I had posted my thoughts on that at

KDE 4.1.x were available as updates even for Fedora 9 though. It is likely that 4.2 will be an update for Fedora 10 as well. Other than a couple of minor backported fixes (like autohide panel support from 4.2), it is more or less the stock KDE defaults

Yes, I was using Fedora 9 with KDE 4.1.2-3 but IMO it was broken as
heck.

Panels kept vanishing, system trays as well, stuff kept vanishing.

I shudder to remember it
