What! What did I miss?! I posted like 6 or 10 things today and I have no idea what I missed! *pulls out remaining hair*

I'm whimpering because of other factors. I may post about it later, but I may not. Rather embarrassing actually. In a political kind of way. AGGGHHH the stress!!

Troopergate *and* the fact that people are finally speaking out against the McCain campaign inciting violence against Obama. It's all over the place. *Plus*, McCain *finally*, the bastard, finally did something about it (not well enough and not nearly enough) during a rally today and got BOOED for it.

It's all over YouTube.

Today was a one-two punch and I don't think they can recover from it. For that matter, I'm not sure the GOP can recover from it, or at least, not any time soon.

I can't decide if I'd rather see her do prison time or just fade away into obscurity. Probably fade away, but only if she stops *breeding*!

One of my sisters--the irritating redneckish one--sent out one of those "Obama's getting campaign funding from our enemies!" emails, but the conspiracy-theory-loving-Ron-Paul-devotee sister immediately fired back a link to the Snopes.com article debunking the myth.

Hmm... maybe there's something to be said for chronic paranoia after all... ;)

LOL! Snopes is a wonderful resource. Sadly, some of the bozos are so braindead they won't even believe that. Or research it themselves. Or learn to evaluate the quality of a source. Or think independently. Or breathe without someone counting cadence for them.

GGGRRR!

I'm so looking forward to The Daily Show's take on all of this. And Saturday Night Live too.

Poor comedy shows. I think they're vastly liberal (though they can poke a stick at both sides) and don't want McCain/Palin to win, yet they'll be losing a rich source of comedy gold.

I think they're ultimately OK with that. ;)

The thing about Stewart and Colbert is that they may *personally* be liberal, but they'll poke at both sides as necessary.

Jon Stewart, especially, has the best bullshit o'meter I've ever seen in my life. He's right up there with Molly Ivins for seeing straight through the crap and then telling it like it is.

I love him so, but c'mon 8 years of Biden? Comedy gold :D

Stewart will have some fun. I like Biden more than I ever have before, but he *does* have a serious case of foot in mouth sometimes. :-)
