They all always get me. Every year I see it and it always pisses me off. Yes, once in a great while some decent parody comes out of it, but that could be done anyway.

It probably comes from having had people with no sense of moderation doing it so you'd get reports of people's deaths or severe illnesses or job losses - things that just aren't joking matters. It soured me on the whole thing long ago.

I don't care for it either. I get weird ass questions every day, so it's a PITA to tell if they're being serious or trying to joke today.

Yeah, I'm not real crazy about it either. I just had one friend call me and ask me to play a joke on her daughter's friend. I said no. It wasn't a mean joke, but I'm really bad at that sort of thing, and I'm just not in the mood.

I'm all for teasing my friends, but even then, I try to make it VERY obvious that it's just teasing so there's never a moment of "oh, *shit*!"
