Isn't that just the *best*? My kitten, Hell Spawn (formerly Cthuthlu, but that didn't stick), has that look sometimes. Then he leaps from the floor to sink his claws into my shoulder and climb into my arms to snuggle.

The loud screaming and spurting blood never seems to deter him.

What's worst is he's solid black. I usually leave the lights off at night except for the computer and tv while I'm working. I guess it's just payback for all those times I've stepped on him in the dark.

They're *always* about to do something you'll regret. If they don't have those Sweet Eyes of Doom, it's the Crazy Eyes of Chaos as they go tearing through the place killing shadows and dust motes and invisible giraffes.

(You look. I bet you haven't seen a single invisible giraffe since the cats moved in. :-)
