Yeah, the tenth episode of the Dresden Files was a better ending. Apparently at least one episode was aired out of order so who know, maybe that was supposed to be the ending, originally.

I think it might have been Storm Front. They hadn't cast Bob when they filmed it, he was added in in a re-shot scene or a flashback or something.
