My Way - by Frank Sinatra. The lyrics are simply amazing, and I 100% want this played at my wake/funeral. I think that this is one of the best songs about being yourself

Damn, I knew this would happrn... I just thought of another one: Paint it Black by the Rolling Stones. Has always been my favourite Stones song, and it is about the death of a girlfriend.

Sadly, I have forgotten the song that I am specifically came back to tell you about, lol.

I think I'd like:

Lacrymosa - Mozart - I'd start with this....it's really sad and it'd get the crying out the way.

Red Hot Chili Peppers - My Friends

Frank Sinatra - My Way (You're right, it's a classic)

Bittersweet Symphony - the verve (Just an amazing song)

Dolly Parton - 9-5 (I'd end with this....everyone associates that song with me and it'd end the funeral with a smile ont heir faces.)

Bill Withers - Ain't no sunshine

And to be honest, any other red hot chili peppers song as well.
