Year End Running Report, and a Writing Sample

A long time ago, I used to enjoy running. For a lot of reasons, I stopped. Earlier this year, at the urging of my Princess, I took it up again. Yes, it is way harder to do just about anything alone. We all need encouragement. Keep going, you will always have the companionship you need.

Perhaps you or Aimee has advice for getting two non-runners started? My boy and I have been careful, he's dropping weight - as we both watch what we eat. Starting with portions, less dessert nights - tiny steps. We're considering picking up running in the early spring- he's already hitting the gym. I hit a treadmill occasionally.

How do two people get started on a routine together?

That's surprisingly easy. Google Couch to 5k, and follow the program. It really works. :-)
