M just called - she, her sisters and her dad went downtown for lunch with Nate and his family. How cool is that?

I'm very sad to be the one of us sisters who missed this lunch. The Robertsons are such neat people. I'm sure there was tons of laughter had by all. Too bad they didn't win last night with Nate pitching. Maybe tonight!

She went down for the game on the 24th. They actually just watched it on TV at her sister's house, and the next day went downtown and had lunch with Nate Robertson and his wife, and his mom and brothers.

I didn't know this until last night, but Nate's parents led Monica's mom to the Lord, all those years ago in Wichita, at Central Christian Church (where Rich Mullins went while he was at Friends Univ). Monica's family moved away shortly after M was born, to Iowa and Colorado and finally Nebraska, but the two families got together at least once a year, going on vacations together and whatnot. Isn't that cool?

Yay for the Robertsons.
