DAVE you're hilarious! I'm not nerdy enough for most of these, but I've done some of them...like edit wikipedia....and memorized monty python....

My friend, Mindy, in college dated Weird Al for a bit. She went backstage at one of his concerts and ended up kissing him. He flew her out to L.A. for a couple weeks and then came back to Nebraska with her. We ran into them at the mall in Lincoln and she was like, "Hey Sarah, this is Al, Al, this is my friend Sarah." We shook hands and that was that. They ended up breaking up after about a month. He really is weird.

That is so bizarre. M had no idea you'd rubbed shoulders with the stars like that. And in Lincoln, no less... I'm curious what Mindy's two weeks in LA following Weird Al around were like.

Wow - that is hliarious! Unfortunately, I'm just not smart enough to be that nerdy, but many of my closest friends are! Pretty much describes the "gang" I ran with in college (I lived near the engineering building - I guess that makes me an engineering groupie, which is pretty much as nerdy as - if not nerdier than - the engineers themselves). Also, I live and work in possibly the nerdiest city on the East Coast.
