I don't love my library. Not even close. But I have discovered that I *do* love my library book store! Why had I never been in there before?? Why?? Sure, a lot of the books in there are James Patterson crap (um. Sorry to those who like him?), but I'm sure if I ever searched closely I could find a lot of books worth the price. Which wouldn't be hard

My own library is a disappointment too. But the book sales! I keep forgetting to go to mine. However, yesterday I found a quality trashy romance novel ($6.99) in the thrift store for 99 cents so I join you in the rejoicing!

I hope you have fun with the party and old friends!Ironically, December is generally the only "rich" month I have all year; not many people to buy presents for, and birthday money combined with my allowance (you gotta love that Russian thing of giving an envelope of money for a present...).

My sister sent me a check for my birthday, which I opened early. I think some of my lack of money comes from my lack of working... I keep having other things to do, and I've only been working like 8 hours a week lately. oops?

The party was fun, but we ended up staying up till like 4 and then this morning I felt awful so I called in sick to work. (which just adds to the money problems, but whatever). Still, it really was lots of fun. I love my friends :)

I think some of the books there are marked up, too, but everything I looked at seemed to be $1, so I guess that would just be he special books.

I don't mind buying used books so much, especially since they are so much cheaper. But then, new books are very nice. And shiny.

And I like the look of REALLY old books... it looks so old-fashioned and library-ish.

The party was super fun. But we stayed up till five and the next morning I had a killer head-ache and called in sick to work. I think my mom thought I was hung over :)
