In case you've missed the episode, you can watch it at Hulu:
Click me! Hmm, just to tell you ahead of time, below is a list of the thoughts running through my head as I watched SGU for the first time:
I HATE it when a show/book/movie starts off with action instead of what's going on. Explanation please. Okay, so they do end up explaining, but I

I, on the other hand, am not touching it with a ten-foot pole :P
Though , is his name really "Elli"? I love that, my lease horse is called Elli! It's a fairly common name here though. And my Elli is a kind of a bitch :P

LOL. I've always thought you can't bash something unless you've tried it (unless it's dangerous to yourself or other people). XP
I LOVE THAT TOO! :D *grins* He's like a 75% more tame version of Rodney that had friends (other geeky ones). XD He sort of is a bitch- lets himself be walked all over by Rush. Rodney would slap that bitch upside the head and dress him down via public humiliation. <3 Oh Rodney, how I miss you. *glee*

I don't know if you'll actually be missing anything by not watching it or not. I'm not sure of it yet myself. I just know that I want it to succeed or there will be no more Stargate at all. If it does well, we'll get SGA and SG-1 movies! Which, you know, is better then nothing. ;__;

I'll be very, very interested to read and see what you have to say about it. Really really. The plot is still lame though. o__o It was good for lots of laughs (even if it wasn't supposed to be).

Everyone else had no excuse. I watched them walk through the Stargate calmly and be flung out on the opposite side
LOL! You're completely right XD Maybe there was some sort of wormhole 'speeding up to deal with high traffic' effect. Science bends to televisions wishes!
And yes, that was Jack O'Neill at the door at the beginning. I wasn't sure until I heard him speak either. The snark gave it away.
I might watch a couple more episodes, enough to see a mission at least, get a feel for where they're going.

I actually burst out laughing when I saw that. The way they fell in was even badly done. It was too dramatic, like they were literally being picked up and tossed threw. I about died when Young flew across the room. Until, you know, I saw the blood. Then I felt sort of guilty for laughing ( ... )

Lol! I agree, the Stargate did just literally look like it was vomiting them out D:
It was O'Neill knocking on his door, he did look weird in that whole scene though O.o
Yeah, absolutely so my opinion is on careful hold...
(deleted originally for being in the wrong place *facepalm*)

HAH! I just had the weirdest mental image of the Stargate coughing weakly a few times and groaning (the metal creaking) before just vomiting out people with an excess of water (SGA?). o___o
Hmm. I thought it might have been O'Neil, but, a friend told me I was hallucinating it up. xD I agreed with him because he definitely looked strange and I couldn't seem to get a clear view of his face.
(LOL. It's okay! I've done a lot worse then that! I've accidentally posted comments anonymously and on my wrong account! LOL. THAT was awkward.)
