[It's the day before the festival and there is so much to be done and Jilly was determined to rise to the occasion. This meant that the artist, who was usually a bundle of activity, was currently imitating a whirlwind as she rushed about the school trying to tie up loose ends

I don't know about decorations, but I can probably help with setting up things.
[Because an artist, Amelia is not. She's not too bad when it comes to power tools though?]
[ooc: I'm good with any sort of cr, if you want them to be friends or anything? And good luck with the madness!]

You have no idea how much I'd appreciate that. Really. I think I have more banners here than I know what to do with.

It's no problem. I'll head toward the school now.

[For all that she's running about like a madwoman, she's pretty easy to spot. There's a smudge of blue paint on her cheek (not to mention all the other colors in her hair and on her clothes) and she's currently trying to figure out how to get the spearheads on all the spears to stop wilting. Wilty spears will never do for skits about vanquishing the third party.]

[Although to be honest, as many times as Jilly is home a little late for whatever reason? He wasn't going to worry anyway.]

Alright, then. I don't think I'll be that late. But I'll see you in the morning if nothing else.

[and, when she arrives, Jilly's easy enough to spot. Wherever there's action there's the artist, offering a bit of advice, swooping in with needed supplies, or just giving a little bit of encouragement as she passes by.
When Rydia arrives, she's in the middle of carefully rolling up a finished banner to be stored until things are slightly less windy outside]

I'm lucky, too. Thankfully, I wasn't part of that weird shift where everyone and their things were sent somewhere else. So, where do you want me?

[Rydia gets a grin as Jilly looks up from the banner] Really, it's up to you. Some of the kids are still finishing up projects, I think we still need a couple shields for one of the skits Archie's directing, and we've got all the supplies you want if you had something in particular you wanted to do.
[a pause as she looks back over the cluttered art room] Except black paint... One of the kids got a little overenthusiastic.

I'm not terribly artistic, but is there anything I could do to help?

How good are you with superglue?

You sure you aren't swamped with your own things?

There's a toll here, miss, if you please.

Jilly of this world might still be all about second chances...but highway men and criminals are out of her realm.]
A toll? What do you mean, a toll. There's never-
[but she knows. The mask is clue enough]

But he's gone this far; he can't back down, now--can he?
No. It has begun--I must see it through. Just. Carefully.]
There is now. You won't get hurt if you hand over all of your money now, lass.

[it wasn't something she was about to fight for. The little bit she was carrying with her wasn't worth risking. But this wasn't a third party attack. This was one of their own.
She doesn't recognize the voice. He's been careful enough to see to that. But there wasn't any place in Luceti that Jilly hadn't been at least once. In different light, in different clothes...she was sure she'd know this person.
It didn't make it less frightening...but it meant her focus was on a little more than simply getting away]
