NYC just banned trans-fats from all food served in restaurants, starting with a phase-in in July '07. I wish CA would do that. Because I usually don't think about that kind of thing unless I have a nutrition label sitting in front of me. But anyway, I liked this quote (end of the second paragraph below) from an AP article

Man, in July 2007, London is JUST starting it's ban on smoking, and I don't thiink it's a blanket ban, I think it's only where food is served. But it would be nice for a lot of bans to happen - like all the shit we're killing the world with.
