TheraFlu inventor for Nobel Prize ...

Jan 09, 2006 11:38

Thanks to either my coworkers or alcestis or tacologic, whomever it was that gave me the lovely crud that I woke up with this morning.

Thanks also to the makers of TheraFlu who have effectively blasted the symptoms of the crud right out of me. I think it's safe to say that at about 6pm tonight I'm going to crash something fierce.

personal, brokedown, friends

I guess I'm technically the one to blame as I was sick and then Adam got it from me... I hope you feel better soon, though.

Good song choice. ;)

Ok, I blame you then. =)

And you actually complemented a song I chose? Now I know the world is coming to an end. ;)

Or you can thank my roomate who, upon borrowing my phone (she had her phone stolen last week), remarked, "Nice job this weekend" when she saw my wallpaper. =)

But, yeah, y'all definitely made my weekend.

It might have been me or Alex, too. Both of us are recovering from some kind of near birdflu crap that nearly sapped my will to live for a few days. Then again, I'm still half convinced that your co-workers got Erica sick at your birthday celebration, then she got me sick, and I got Alex and my mom and all of *my* co-workers sick. Then again, maybe it's just that time of year.

Anyway, next time you're sick, after I live closer, I'll make and bring you chicken soup. Because really? Every good jewish boy should have chicken soup when he's sick. Hell, *everyone* should have chicken soup when they're sick.

My mom threatens to Fed Ex chicken soup when I get sick. I am suspicious that's the main reason she wants me to fall in love and get married ... so she can pass off the chicken soup responsibility to someone else.

Tiny little Burton Albion stand to make THREE AND A HALF TIMES their ANNUAL OPERATING CAPITAL with this ONE TRIP to Old Trafford they earned with that Cup draw.

Unbelievable !!

I wonder how many pies £40,000 will purchase. Also liked how the lads were more excited about playing Wolves than United!

Burton played well enough right up until Rooney and Ronaldo were put in. From that point in the match, they were totally defensive.

Fergie is liable to start Ruud and Rooney, as well as two or three of the first team midfielders. That would slam the door shut.

Besides I kind of feel sorry for players who are used to playing in front of 6,000 people suddenly going to a stadium where there will be ten times that many.

I discovered TheraFlu in 2000. I worked somewhere else and I recall feeling ill with cold at that job. I don't know if it was just how glad I was to feel better or if there are stimulants in TheraFlu but it made me positively happy and energetic. If the sun were a person, it would have been me.
