[Well, if Ren's peering into trees, he'll find someone else he (vaguely) knows, entirely by accident. Not nearly as cute as Aisling, but also not nearly as naked as the last time Ren saw him, so these things kind of balance themselves out.

Of course, since they weren't all that closely acquainted, Lyn didn't really notice Ren was even gone. He just gives the boy a questioningly raised eyebrow.] Shit, where's the fire?

What, you get droned for awhile or something? Haven't seen you since - [Wait. No. They are never talking about that. He stops himself, wearing an expression that firmly instructs Ren to forget that he ever even started that sentence, and most certainly not to end it.]

[It being Sunday, the self-appointed supervisor of the Church is definitely in, so if Ren is literally going to burst into the building, he'll very much recognize a familiar silhouette ahead.

The nun stops short in what she was doing, blinks, and looks up in surprise.]

[Oh thank the big man in the sky--the drones really just don't cut it when it comes to talking to someone at church. The relief on Ren's face is instant, but the momentum carrying him blasting into the church remains perhaps unnecessarily intense.

But nuns like being bowled over by tight confused hugs, right?]

Well technically she's a trained battle nun so handling fierce bullet hugs is small time, but she will briefly pick him up from the ground and spin a quarter circle aside to let loose that extra momentum.

Okay let's go back to ground level now, and she'll be chuckling softly while one hand stays on his back to stabilize him, while the other lightly rests on his head.]

Goodness, you surprised me. Are you okay, now? [A bit of a rhetorical question, but it's saying something. It's obvious by this point that he got undroned and 'came back', and while whether this is good or bad is debatable, it doesn't change the fact that she can still greet him and try to calm him down first.]

[It takes a moment to register the fact that he recognizes that voice, but that's more from being bad with voices than with not remembering exactly who this person is.]

--Herminone. What-- I woke up not at home, did-- something happen?

[Hermione frowns listening and, ignoring all other things, speaks.]

No, but you haven't been here for quite a few months. If you woke up somewhere else this time... You must live in a new house, then.

...for a few months. [She can probably hear the gears clicking--Ren's already taken the mild hysteria down a notch thanks to her calm direct attitude, but that doesn't make her explanation make much more sense.] But I just... in a new house?

[It takes a moment to register as he's catching his breath. But before long he's up on his feet and staggering over to latch on with a hug.]
