Also it was. A local production. That's the best description I can give it.
But really all that means is that half the chorus didn't look like they want to be there but the leads were just so happy to be there and this is going to be a really long run-on sentence so I'll break it down.
Harold Hill: HE LOOKED LIKE ROBERT PRESTON and was the most charismatic Hill I've ever seen. Just. Wavy hands and big smiles and that's Harold Hill right there. Voice was average but half of his part is half-rapping and scaring villagers, so it wasn't noticeable ( ... )
