.. or 5. it is not pain they are experiencing at all, vut simply pure pleasure. What might look like pain in someone's eyes might be something entirely different in another's.

College? Maybe. But I'm not going to spend my life having deep discussions with people taking the same education as i do, or reading the same books that i read.
