Oh, this is lovely! So warm and heartfelt and the characters true, even in Cas' stories. And Dean in the end telling his own story. This just became one of my favorite Dean/Cas fics ever! And i adore Cas' nickname. Bluebird, it fits him perfectly. Not only for the blue eyes and wings but for the simple fact that he brings Dean happiness. Awesome m'dear, just like you for sharing this with us.

I'm so glad you enjoyed this. SPN fandom can be so angsty--it needs a bit of fluff once in a while!

I think it's the cutest fic I ever read. The slight touch of melancholy nearly made me cry (in a good way) and the way you portrayed Cas and Dean is perfect. Amazing.

Awww. I thought this was so funny, Cas coming up with all these different scenarios! Then I got to this part:

“Hey,” Dean says, stepping closer. "How many stories about us have you dreamed up?”

Cas smiles. Well, half-smiles.

“Dozens,” he quietly answers.

“Yeah? Which one’s your favorite?”

His smile widens until it’s a full grin, scrunched nose and all.

“The one where I am an angel, and you are a hunter, and you kiss me for the first time in North Dakota,” he answers.

...and then I melted. Sigh! ♥
