I had to go look it up to see what felting was, but I can really see how you'd need your own washer for that. *.*

as someone who lives in an apartment and just emptied her wallet of quarters so she can do her laundry tomorrow, i totally get this. (someday i will own a condo and my favorite thing will be the parking space that is mine, all mine.) you can wash one pair of pants or a single shirt at midnight if you want. *sigh*

It's been a year, and I still have to remind myself that it's okay to spend my quarters now.

I tend to start the laundry when I leave for work. It's so nice knowing that no one will come along and take my clothes out and put them God knows where.

Yes! Even having my own dishwasher pales next to the washer/dryer. *^_^*

YES!
We - or rather, i - did the laundromat thing for *years*. Having your own washer/dryer is awesome.

Luckily I rarely had to do the laundromat thing because my apartment complexes always had laundry room. (Only when I wanted to wash comforters or something big like that.)

Man, I'd probably just keep buying more underwear and socks if I had to do that. *^_^*
