Not a whole lot went on today. Slept a lot. Grumbled at gas prices. Went to my parents' for the evening to catsit. Did have nommo Chinese food for dinner. Got the best fortune ever. It said, "Come back later; I'm sleeping. (Yes, even cookies need sleep.)"

Why is it some people in this world insist on being such assbags? Today, I am specifically referring to the idiots who write malware. Rayven's computer seems to have picked up one of their creations. Looks like I'll be spending my Saturday getting rid of it.

Today has been fairly uneventful, really. But, if I'm to complete this post-a-day challenge, I'll have to post something every day, exciting or not. It's a fairly easy night at work tonight--later on, I'll be getting paid to play Dragon Quest IX. ^.^

So, today has been fun so far. This morning, I got my internet service switched to Comcast. My DSL was plenty fast for gaming and streaming video (at the same time) but this is about 4 times faster. Download Speed: 21149 kbps (2643.6 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 4529 kbps (566.1 KB/sec transfer rate)

Tomorrow I'm switching from AT&T DSL to Comcast Cable for my internet. In theory, my connection speed should about double. We'll see if that holds up. Here is my current connection speed, as measured on the Speakeasy Broadband Speed Test:

Download Speed: 5178 kbps (647.3 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 651 kbps (81.4 KB/sec transfer rate)

Not a whole lot going on just yet--still at work for another hour. Later today, I plan on grabbing a $2 Hackneyburger if the line isn't too insane. And then, I just might go vote.
