feeling productive today

Today I feel like i justified my day as a "doing stuff at home" day rather than a day off.

I....

• caught up on some sleep
• baked 2 cakes (well ok, baked a double batch of cake)
• delivered cake to a friend
• borrowed books from the library
• looked up skirt making notes and determined exact alterations to patterns needed for 3 skirts

Hmm, one of those cases where the distinction between a hyphen and a dash is vital :-)

skirt-making then. although the other might have been more interesting.

Well, I don't think commas are commonly confused with hyphens - unlike dashes - and a dash would also be legitimate in that context.

I'll take your word on that, my advanced grammar is all intuitive, except the bits I learnt to learn german.
