I was supposed to be writing I'll fic, but instead this happened. tsubasa100 drabble, theme of "forgotten". SPOILERS up to chapter 170 or so. Pretentious mythology-allusion title ftw, though I suppose at least it's not as bad as Sisyphus. :\

Wow, lots of goodness into such a small amount of text.

I was just thinking about you randomly just a moment ago and wanted to ask - at what point did you decide to quit your PhD? Because obviously you put a lot of time and effort into it. I'm kind of dissatisfied as to where my year has left me, satisfaction-in-my-education-wise, but I worked so friggin hard to get into this stupid program. It's basically between taking whatever the heck I want or sticking with the people I've started to make friends with.

You know you're so good, I could see you publishing a collection of short stories on this pairing. Bet there'd be a lot of fangirls (and a couple of fanboys) who need something to read on a rainy day or a really restless night.

Not to up the freak-you-out factor, but I thought I didn't have enough in me to read a single word more, but the promise of your writing was unfortunately too much.

As always, I'm horribly jealous and respectfully in awe.

I'm very glad you enjoyed it, and as usual you're far too generous with your praise. Though I quite liked "fierce and graceless" myself!

Incidentally, I've been meaning to ask, I know your birthday is coming up soon, so would you like some fic? Fandom, genre and pairing(s) of your choice, naturally. :)

I assure you, I really am in love with your writing. These days I read very, very selectively because I have very little time and energy to spare. I feel horribly guilty about it, but I just can't you know? Your fics are among the few fics that I will drop most of the stuff I have to deal with to read; although usually I want to wait for a good moment so I can enjoy the process as well as leave a decent review. Seriously, there are very few people this arrogant kid is willing to look up to. You're one of them. Of course the reasons are more than just your writing, but it's a secret I'm not telling anyone. :P (Oh but it's not something like a secret crush or anything. It's just something you did for me a long time ago. That and you're funny, modest and a really good writer ( ... )
