Despite the last 4 seasons, he still thinks ignoring a situation and making believe everything's "okay" is the best way to handle life. There's a job waiting for him in thie Bush administration.

Heh! Your wit is unrivaled. Much like Bush's stupidity.

Every time Lex tries to bring up the caves, she has to turn the convo around to her dad being out of work. It will drive him crazy.

LOL! Whatever happened to Gabe? Is he with Pete and Lucas?

I'm thinkin' they're gonna start a BOY BAND! The SV-Unmentionables!

I have to admit, the lack of Gabe really upsets me. As Bo himself said in an interview, and I totally agree, "the people who write this show are idiots, they don't understand how important the parents are."

I love this recap!

Papa Luthor should have been waiting nearby with a crowbar. A Kryptonite crowbar.

I so totally wanted that to happen! And I'm going to pretend that the creepy "You owe me one -- L" note is from Lionel, and that those two crazy kids will somehow make it all work out! Yes, I am delusional, your point? :-D

I hope she works on Lex to hire her dad back during the plane ride. Every time Lex tries to bring up the caves, she has to turn the convo around to her dad being out of work. It will drive him crazy.

This is a wonderful idea!

But jeez, is Jason under a ton of crap over at the Kents' house or what? NOT A MENTION.

OMG! That didn't even occur to me! Good point! LOL!

After Bo & Lois went scrabbling for Martha, you'd think Bo would have then said, "We have to find that little son of a bitch!" too -- or told Lois to keep looking while he took Martha to the hospital. Pa Kent is supposed to be a GOOD MAN, he's practically an archetype, so he should be concerned about Jason, even if Jason *did* pull a gun on them. He wouldn't approve of Jason, but he'd search for him under the remains of the house. Even if Jason himself was nothing but remains at that point. I think they either figured we would forget over the summer, or (and this is more likely) THEY FORGOT ABOUT JASON because the actor was off on another show at that point.

And another thing -- Clark asked Chloe, "Why didn't you say anything?" Hello? It was almost like Clana-in-the-loft, the number of times she was hinting around about that! I really wanted her to at least roll her eyes at that, but I was so busy laughing I probably would have missed it.

That would actually have been some good writing, and really good Chloe-dialogue. She totally *would* roll her eyes and accuse him of being an obtuse space alien if he didn't get all her hints. That was the best bit of the episode, really: Chloe and Clark in the pretty, pretty hospital room. The only thing I'm looking forward to in future is further Chloe/Clark adventures, they'd better not disappoint me!
