This assumes one knows about these things in advance. I only found out because someone on my flist was at the Apple store event and posted about it; she said I should look for her the next night and I was thinking "um, and I'd have to know about that one, too." In any case, I was coming down with something, and had lots going on during the evenings this week and I suspect Thursday would have broken the proverbial catherine's back . . . even if the theater *was* just a few blocks from work.

I suppose I should join the WhoYork comm; that fandom overall scares me a bit, but there's no reason to think the local folks are anything but nice.
