So. Late-night screening of Repo: The Genetic Opera with a shadow cast acting it out in front of/below the screen.

--Shadow casts are annoying and obnoxious in the extreme if you're there to see the movie for the first time. I'm sure that the whole point for most people tonight was to shout along with a movie they'd seen thirty times before, so ( Read more... )

I enjoyed many aspects of Repo, and I think it would be improved by a floor show (I saw it on a friend's DVD), but then, as an old-school Rocky Horror girl, and I think a lot of things are improved by a floor show.

It was definitely worth seeing with a floor show. As for Rocky Horror, I'd like to see the full-on floor show version with a huge audience. I first saw that film back when I was way too young and innocent to enjoy it. I was like, "They're making rape jokes. How is that OK?!" Which is a valid criticism, but doesn't mean you can't enjoy the movie. I think I'd enjoy it much more with a big house full of heckling audience members.
