Ooh, I just finished a letter (one I started on October 8.... hmmm...) asking you for some good regional ghost or history stories, and you supply this one about Howard Blackburn! What an awesome dude.

But I think you should go as the Ancient Mariner.

Okay--I'll try it. It'll depend on whether I can find a good plush albatross. Watch this space!

I'll try and find you some other stories, as well; Howard Blackburn is from Gloucester, and I should look around here a little bit more. It'll be a good excuse to hit the library again...

If you happen to listen to any of the radio shows, let me know how they strike you! Somehow, they seemed like the kind of thing you might like.

Aw, rats, I just can't. I'm sorry. Of all things, that looks like the perfect show for this October. But I'm going to be away for school. If it's actually being broadcast, I'll go in for a recording! But I suspect it's a live show.
