This sounds like a good idea! I second the suggestion of a post for rpf.

And I have some suggestions for the mods to consider regarding some of the questions.

If a prompt has mulitple pairings such as Jackson/Danny but side Stiles/Derek, it goes under the "other pairings" post because it's "primary" pairing is Jackson/Danny.

If it has a threesome, if the threesome is Derek/Stiles/Other it goes under the Derek/Stiles post but if it's (for example) Stiles/Jackson/Lydia is goes in the "other pairings" post.

And Prompts that are Stiles/Other (or Derek/Other) would go in the "other pairings" post. It wouldn't BAN a writer who wants to fill it from making it Stiles/Derek if they so choose but this way they know to make an effort to pair them with someone else. If the OP REALLY wants Stiles/Derek then they can just post a Stiles/Derek prompt in the Stiles/Derek post.

I hope that makes sense.

When you make future prompt posts, could you add links to flat view? Also, it would be really helpful if you could put flat view links in the earlier parts so that it's easier to find new comments or fills.

Flatview is fantastic and links are generally pretty easy to add.

In normal view, you see the threads of a post in chronological order with comments nested below them, but in flat view, all the threads and comments are listed in the order that they were posted, so if I posted a thread and someone replied and then I posted another thread and then went back and posted a reply to the comment, it would look like ( ... )

I have a question! Does non-sexual mean Gen?

And second question: where do I post my prompt if I want Derek/Anyone (and that could be Stiles). Or if I want Derek/Stiles but I am fine with Derek+Stiles as friends?

Yes, Gen means non-sexual. It means that while the story or prompt can have pairings in the background, the main focus of the story is a non-sexual relationship or situation.

I would guess that if you wanted Derek/any it would go under "other pairings" post.

If you wanted Derek/Stiles but were fine with Gen fic between those two characters as a substitute, it would probably still go under the Derek/Stiles tag. Because the prompt suggests that Derek/Stiles as a romantic pairing is preferred.

If a prompter is specifically requesting a gen prompt then it would go in the non-sexual post. We have many friendship prompts or pack prompts, and a number of people have requested a post especially for these prompts, so we're trying it.

That isn't to say that the fills for these prompts cannot have pairings, I suppose, just that the prompter requested gen or pack fics.

As for your other question, Derek/Anyone or Stiles/Anyone should go on the all pairings post.

You keep saying "all" pairings post. Don't you mean "other" pairings. All would imply D/S and isn't the point of this to separate D/S from all pairings not D/S?

I don't know. Going by all the above comments, this seems like it's a step too involved for something that isn't going to change which prompts get filled here, which is what seems to be the problem people are having.

But like you say, I don't have another option and it doesn't hurt to try different things.

We keep getting yelled at for what people are choosing to fill, so hopefully this will at least help some to find prompts.

I think this is worth trying.

It may not help more prompts get written, after all this is an open meme, and no prompt is obligated to be filled, (writing in capitals or emphatic language won't change that)

but it could make it easier and more enjoyable for writers to find prompts they are interested in.

Word.

That is pretty much our thought process.
