Differences between born and bitten werewolves

Looking for well written stories that highlight any differences between a born wolf and a bitten wolf. Anything that portrays born wolves as being more otherworldly and having very different behaviour/ways of thinking etc from bitten wolves. I tend to think that bitten werewolves might face a dichotomy between their wolf side and the human side; ( Read more... )

hmm, not Peter or Derek centric, but...

Enemies to Peace by Escalus

It's a Scott centric fic au for 5b (Scott/Isaac), that at several points has Scott talking to Derek, or mentions him talking to other alphas, about the differences between born wolves and bitten wolves.

Like for example, there's scene in the first part of the series where Derek has to help Scott attain a full alpha form, and has to help him get over his fear of the wolf inside of him. While explaining why Scott unlike Derek, will probably never be able to do a full wolf shift, because it's unlikely that he'll ever be fully at peace with himself and what he is, the way that Derek managed to become after s4
