I would really appreciate help finding a specific fic. My memories of it are very vague except for really enjoying it at the time! Here's what I remember...Stiles is a magic user and quite powerful. He uses these beads of some sort to either clean up or dispense magic, I can't quite remember which. I'm fairly sure there's a Whittmore-Mahealani

This is a good story, but not the one I was looking for. Maybe I've meshed two different fics in my memory! The one I'm remembering has a Jackson Mehalani pairing. Jackson and Lydia had problems that Stiles helps resolve. Jackson I think at one point thinks he's a magic user and falls from a balcony? Also, I'm fairly sure the one I'm looking for was on AO3.
