He's one of those guys you're like, 'oh, he has a nice personality...' (based on the youtube clip I watched of him reacting to the news). Dunno about him yet.

Oh I might have to check that out. Because I watched a few in season 1, but I have to admit it didn't really grab me (though I think both David Duchovney and Gillian Anderson are gorgeous and had amazing chemistry). And I know I will like it when I give it a proper shot.

I haven't, actually. I might have to give that one a try at some point too.

I have to admit I do like ongoing storylines better than Monster of the week stuff, even if those storylines do tend to annoy a lot of fans. (you're making me really want to watch it now, lol!)

Well, I guess I'll reserve judgment until Matt Smith actually takes charge of the Tardis. I remember him being all right in Ruby in the Smoke, so I don't think he'll completely suck... Of course, he's got some pretty big Tennant shoes to fill. *clutches at Ten*

I'm fairly confident Moffatt won't kill the show; if I recall correctly, he wrote some of the better episodes over the past few seasons. He does creepy pretty well, at least!

It must be so hard to know you're going to be filling David Tennant's shoes. That's some serious pressure right there.

I'm not pleased with some of his episodes - namely when he turns The Doctor into some James Bond-esque character with random female guest stars fawning over him - but he has done some great ones too, so yes! We'll see!

I find him a really weird choice for Doctor. Although, that is purely based on his looks cos I've never seen him in anything. He just looks too young to me. That said, maybe it will work because he's so different from Tennant. I'll reserve judgement til I see him I think.
