I watched House a few days ago. All I want to say is this: What the fuck was that, writers? What the fuck.
I figured out why the hug annoyed me. Cameron threw herself at House all awkward like (and just completely ignored the fact that she was pissed at Wilson last week), and reverted to season1!Cameron, not cool assertive season3!Cameron. Lame.

Totally agree! Big disappointment! So much could have been done with the Tritter arc and the writers basically forgot how to do their job. Also that had to be, by far, the weakest POTW ever! I want S1 'House' back!

I wasn't that indifferent to the hug, but it would have been gold if he hugged back!
You're like the billionth person in the last week I've seen say positive things about Flourish! I need to see this !
I don't know whether it's because the West Wing and my other fandoms are sucking in my love, but I'm growing kind of apathetic to House these days.I don't really have any other shows sucking me in at the moment, but L&O:SVU and The Office are getting there. House...I don't really know where to begin. I think they're trying too hard to be on top and keep up with Grey ( ... )

I squeed at first over the hug, but after it was over, it left me feeling... weird. It was just too awkward :(
YES! YOU MUST SEE IT! So hilariously funny. JM and JS have some serious comedy chops.
Totally agree. I think the writers really need to sit down and establish some consistency. Like, work out where they're going and what they want to do, instead of throwing in these random moments of major drama and having the characters learn nothing from the experience. It's not very satisfying to watch after a while. (and yay, Office love! *g*)

I was so frustrated after that! Plus, Tritter says, "good luck!" WTF! Big asshole. House should have stuck a bigger object up there! I love David Morse, but I felt his talents were ultimately wasted.

I'm comforted with the fact that he appeared a bit flustered by her touch. What I want to know, and what a lot of the anti-Cam have had a problem with, is how did she know Wilson apologized? Did Jimmy boy come back skipping into the hospital, "Guess what House did!" Another little hole I would have liked filled.

Oh MAN that is another annoyance. Technically they should have ended at the START of this season, and they haven't touched it. Lol. Yes I do know that is true. So so badly true :(

As for the rest - am I the only one that felt ripped off by the whole thing? Take us through this whole story arc for what? Nothing?
Just, ugh.

Not at all. I felt majorly ripped off. What was the point in it at all?

yes! i totally had a season 1 flashback watching that scene. she was supposed to have grown a backbone. guess not.
speaking of season 1, as formulaic as it seemed at times, i miss it. why can't it be like that again, rather than this ping-pong game of inconsistency?
it was a good episode of the office. although it kind of ends on a sad note...
have a great week :o)

I agree. At least season 1 didn't drag itself down with these nonsensical and ultimately pointless arcs. Stand alone episodes with a tad of continuity? Much more preferable.
It was! Gah, poor Dwight. Loved the Jim!hug though *g*
You too ;)

I'm feeling kinda the same. I feel like hitting the writers over the head with the softball bat that's sitting in the bottom of my wardrobe. They don't seem to know what the hell they're doing anymore.
But like you said, the next ep looks like it could be good. *crosses fingers*

*also crosses fingers* At least it's written by David Shore. He might redeem himself. A little.
