Frowning, Ed jerked his head upwards and glanced around them warily. His hand tightened just barely around Charlie's, the other cheating towards the hilt of his sword (and now he was certainly glad to have made the more authentic choice with his costume there). "No," he agreed. "But it's not the normal sort of thing, is it?"

It's definitely his kitchen; his parent's kitchen, back home. He looks around, taking in everything. Something feels wrong. The shadows are too deep. The house is too quiet. Even when she's sleeping, his Mom plays music. "We've got to find my Mom, Ed."
