Yo, Lizzbeth, when are you up in Edinbra for the festival? Please, please, please say tenth to the fifteenth. Because it will be basically a crime against humanity if our trips don't overlap in some way.

Aah, your London trip sounds mega cool. I feel bad for actually living here and having never seen Hairspray or Spamalot or a proper actual Shakespeare play.

I'm criminally uncultured.

Nooo! 16th to the 23rd! So close to an overlap! =[

I'm sure there are various things to be done in Liverpool/Merseyside that I really should have done but haven't, so it's fine. And you are anything but uncultured! You are a comedy goddess, as I'm sure I've said before. You are queen of all things comedy-related. XD

SPAMALOT IS SO AWESOME. And are you going to the globe? The new artistic director is so...over the top! (In a brilliant way, especially when compared with the minimal stuff Mark Rylance did, even though I fangirl him shamelessly omg ONCE I MET HIM AND HE SIGNED MY TICKET AND GAVE ME A CUSHION FAJDSHFJKSF) I've missed the two performances our family saw in June and I'm missing the two in August, because of holidays. Woe. It'll be the first year for ages I haven't seen at least one. You better enjoy it enough for the both of us, you know.

No, the Globe was sold out. We're going to Regent's Park, which should be fun, if possibly cold/wet. I am so looking forward to Spamalot - it's kind of our wild-card but I can just tell it's going to be filled with lulz and amazingness. No Peter Davison, but then how lucky can one girl be, I guess. (I love that you fangirl an artistic director. Srs, girl, you are so strange and amazing.)

I've only ever been to Regent's Park once, but I remember it as being awesome. But huge! Although I was rather small, so it may balance out. I love theatre in parks, omg. It's also good if it's only cold or wet, not both.

Spamalot is FAB. It's the only thing I've ever seen on Broadway, but it was totally the best thing ever. I went away beaming with love for Lancelot. Srsly.

I AM REALLY EXCITED FOR YOU.

(Well he was an actor too, but he is just SO COOL. And he was in The Tempest with just two other actors and I nearly died from the greatness of it. \sahajhsjdk. I was so sad when he retired. ;____;)

Open-air theatre is made of many good things, especially when it's Shakespeare. Also, yes, I don't mind cold or wet as long as it's not both. =]

I'm excited for me too! Theatre just turns me into a massive dork, for reals. XD

(I love it when tiny casts do Shakespeare! Where somebody's, like, talking to a hat on a stick or something. I once saw this Tempest where the same actors cut back and forth between two scenes - one second it was Caliban/Stephano/Trinculo and the next they'd all change one part of their costume and become Antonio/Sebastian/Gonzalo, or something like that anyway. It was awesome.)

IT IS ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. I may have cried. Twice. Once during Good Morning Baltimore. It was just that amazing.

(And it has Ben from Any Dream Will Do as Link! He's just awesome in it. So is everyone! Penny wins so hard, as well - she was my favourite thing ever.)
