Kunsellllll! ;_____; It was kind of cool to see Luxiere, though. Like all of CC's side characters, he needed more air time.

Hah! And now Cloud's famous. Love how you executed that part with the television report.

I kind of laugh how Rufus equates any sort of greatness or backbone in Cloud to his genetics. The narcissist. :)

Oh ho, this sounds like developments. Stepping on some Turk toes, coming right up.

He he he... Well this *is* Shinra after all. I can't have it be too fluffy.

Luxiere's been an interesting character to write. Both difficult and fun, especially considering he doesn't have much of an established personality.

Tseng really should have spanked Rufus more when he was growing up.

I always pictured him a bit shady and vain and career-driven - I secretly suspected, when he sent that message asking Zack to turn himself in, that he was totally backstabbing Zack for the promotion. You've made him a little bit more naive and ditzy and social, but still very much a competant SOLDIER, which I like. Love these side characters, so much room for interpretation in their personalities. :) And it was nice to see his reaction on finding that link to Zack, since he did idolise him a bit.

Yes. Yes he should have.

I wondered about that, but at the same time I thought it was likely that Shinra had hijacked his PHS account. There's even a decent argument they did the same to Kunsel. Kunsel's offers to help could've actually been a way to get Zack to meet 'Kunsel' some place then Shinra nab him.

He able to run with the ocean on one side and the buildings, painted vivid oranges and reds by the rising sun on the other, and the nothing on the street to stop him.

I like this sentence, and that whole scene. It's very vivid and it paints how there's beauty to be found in a not-that-pretty city.

Ha ha, I loved the meta of the fictional universes.

Also, Johnny! :D And Luxiere! And poor Kunsel! :(

I liked the anecdote with Dark Nation and Tseng. c: And everything involving Dark Nation, really. It used to be my favorite enemy in the game when I was younger.

Also, wow, it's so... kind of intense? to see things from Rufus's point of view. Everything is a political or social struggle with him. :( It's sad, but it makes for interesting reading!
