Day 10: Coming Back From Dreamland

New York was a blast. Such a wondrous, grimy, gritty, amazing, freakish, beautiful place. I am re-obsessed with the idea of getting everywhere on foot without having to drive. I love NYC, but I could never live there for some of the reasons you point out!

Congrats on day 10 on HRT! It's hard to really notice effects as it's a slow process. Nausea is a common reaction though, especially in the morning right after you take the pills. You should eat before you take the pills and that may help a little. I don't know the science behind why it causes nausea, but it's something about the medicine!

Good luck

Yeah, I have a bad habit of waking up, taking the meds, and THEN eating, but I should probably change that habit. :)

Oh lol, it was fantastic! I will have to review the laundry list you sent me, but I'm sure I did at least one or two things on there. I didn't have a LOT of time for standard sight-seeing, my friend I was staying with took me around himself a lot and showed me interesting drinking establishments / weird little out-of-the-way restaurants, like this really amazing underground Japanese restaurant in Manhattan that's really teeny and has frog legs on the menu.
