It is a miserable night out: it snowed today for the first time in quite awhile (we had bare pavement on the weekend, which is quite the thing here for January!). The sidewalks are very slippery, and I skidded several times on the way home, finally slipping altogether in my dooryard and probably bruising my hip. I walked in my apartment, grumbling

My drive home from Fredericton to Minto lastnight was slow going but better safe then sorry. Hubby's drive was slow later on as well. I love that we haven't really had that much snow yet. Before yesterday's snow our front lawn was grass. I emailed a picture to my mom on Saturday of what our lawn looked liked. I am not complaining about the cold or snow this winter. Lastnight we didn't even have a fire in the woodstove. We will definately have wood left over this year. :)
