[Failed lock to Leo and Raph because his communicator is a complete dick and decides to ignore his 99% unhackable lock]

[Donatello sounds very, very happy when he speaks.]

Leo, Raph, can I build my lab now? And get new books? And visit people's labs? And go to school? My two weeks are up!

[He's been keeping track of the time... and hopes that ( Read more... )

[An embarrassed laugh.]

I'm only sixteen, Giovanni. I've still got a while before I'm an adult. And I'm not even sure our brains mature at the same rate as humans....

And you get double-posted!! Because Tony is a one-uper! yeah_i_can_fly May 20 2010, 23:18:02 UTC
Try it like this: [insert fancy code work here; it's flawless and works perfectly in sync with the communicators]

[Donatello blinks at his communicator and his reply isn't immediate because he's looking over the code.]

[Donny can appreciate good work. And appreciate he does.]

Niiiiiiiiiice. You didn't tell me you could program! And program amazingly, I might add.

... Don't think it's my code, though. But if I use yours and it still happens, that will confirm my suspicions.

They tell me I'm a genius; I can do anything.

It would. Because my code is flawless.

Note to self, check that the lock is actually working before saying anything.

It was working. It has worked. It just... didn't take.

[Donatello can't admit how frustrating it is working with a platform THAT HAS SO MANY ISSUES.

A sigh.]

I think my communicator's defective.

It almost makes you wonder if they were designed to fail at the worst possible times.

So... how bad was the damage?

techoutmystaff May 21 2010, 14:41:42 UTC
Starting to think that, too.

... Absolutely horrible. Mikey found out I was grounded. And he ran away so I couldn't smack him upside the head.

Doesn't really pay attention to the failed lock. She's used to hacking into things when she feels like it. Though you had her at lab.]

Hm~? What's this about a lab~?

[Donatello always woos the ladies over his intellect.

He also doesn't know who you are, so he's, er, kinda sounding confused.]

Uhm, yes, actually! We have an extra kitchen that's going mostly unused.

[That's okay, She has no clue who he is. She just heard the word 'lab' and felt the need to inquire.]

A kitchen is hardly the place to set up a proper lab. Though I suppose it would be alright for small chemistry experiments.

Well, it's more like a lab/workspace. It's a decently sized kitchen, and I'm used to limiting my workspace, so I should still be able to get a lot of work done there.

[FFFFF, not insulted. He can understand why she'd say that, whomever she is!]
